Moussaka

Ingredients Layers 6 eggplants optional potatoes for base (~~2lb) olive oil Meat Sauce 1 1/2 lb ground beef 2 red onions (chopped) 2 cloves of garlic (chopped) 1 tin petite cut stewed tomatoes (450 ml) 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 teaspoon sugar 1 cup of red wine salt freshly ground black pepper 1 bay leaf 1/8 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup olive oil Bechamel 4 cups milk 1/4 lb butter 1/4 cup flour 1/8 tsp nutmeg 2 egg yolks 4 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano salt to taste
