BVille Singapore Noodle

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp Curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sherry or chicken stock

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Onion, sliced
  • 1 Red Pepper
  • 1-2 Chicken Breasts, sliced
  • 8 Oz rice vermicelli
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)

    Preparation

Prepare Sauce: Add ingredients to small bowl and mix and set aside
Prepare vermicelli: per package instructions (ours usually says place one minute in boiling water and drain). Note: timing is important here. You need to have the sauce and cooked vermicelli ready, but not cook the vermicelli too early. Get boiling water ready and do the noodles midway through preparing the rest. Set aside.
If using uncooked chicken, put chicken in a pan large enough to hold everything and heat 1 tbsp of oil. Cook chicken until just cooked.
Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
Use beaten egg in pan to make an omelette, remove and slice (or break up in pan). Set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil and cook onion for a couple minutes until slightly soft.
Add red pepper and cook for another minute or so.
Add sauce, vermicelli and chicken. Heat and toss until everything is heated, mixed and coated.
    Add egg and toss.
    Serve and enjoy!

    Yorkshire Pudding

My recipe for Yorkshire Pudding (updated). What I like about this recipe is that you use exactly equal volume measurements of eggs, flour, and milk: Ingredients: Eggs (straight from the fridge is fine) All-purpose flour Milk Salt (1/4 tsp per egg) Vegetable oil (1/2 tsp per muffin cup) Instructions: Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Prepare the Muffin Pan: Add 1/2 teaspoon of oil to each cup of a muffin pan. Use three cups for each egg in your recipe. Place the pan in the oven to heat the oil. Heat for at least 5 minutes, or until the oil is hot -- hot enough so that it bubbles when you put the batter in the cups.  Make the Batter: In a bowl, mix eggs, flour, and milk in equal quantities to create a batter with a consistency similar to pancake batter. For each egg used, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Example: If using 2 eggs, you'll have enough batter for 6 Yorkshire puddings. Fill the Muffin Cups: Carefully remove the hot muffin pan from

    Solo Devilled Egg

I was feeling a bit like having something tasty and I had a hard boiled available, so I thought maybe I would have a devilled Egg.
